Local Authentication with Strong Security

While Entra ID is our preferred authentication method, we recognize that flexibility is critical. That’s why we also offer secure local user account support, built on NIST password policy guidelines:

• Minimum password length: 15 characters
• Password complexity: Includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters
• Encrypted storage: Passwords are hashed using strong cryptographic algorithms
• Threat prevention: Defense mechanisms against brute-force, credential stuffing, and spraying
• Periodic password rotation: Encouraged to maintain account hygiene

This hybrid model gives customers options while maintaining high security standards.
